Privacy Policy

This describes exactly what Refresh & Notify (the Chrome extension, @irefreshbot on Telegram, and this website) collects, why, and who it's shared with. It sticks to what the product actually does — nothing here is boilerplate copied from a generic template.
What we collect, and why
Page content you're watching
The extension reads the text of the tab you choose to watch, locally in your browser, to check for your keyword. This content is not sent to our servers or stored by us — with one exception: the moment your keyword actually matches and you have Telegram alerts on, the matched keyword text and the page's hostname (not the full page content) are sent to our backend so they can be included in your Telegram message.
Your settings
Target URL, keyword, refresh interval, and notification preferences are stored only in your browser's local extension storage. They never leave your device except for the keyword/hostname sent at alert time, described above.
Email address
Collected when you start a free trial or make a purchase, so we can match your trial or purchase to your Telegram account when you message @irefreshbot.
Telegram chat ID
Collected when you message our bot. Used solely to deliver your alerts to the correct Telegram conversation — never shared with any other user.
License or trial key, and device identifier
Used to enforce the one-device-per-license limit and to identify your account when the extension checks your plan or sends an alert.
Usage data
We track how many Telegram alerts you've sent, to enforce your plan's monthly limit. We don't track anything about your general browsing beyond the one tab you've explicitly chosen to watch.
Payment information
We never collect or store this ourselves. Payments are processed entirely by LemonSqueezy, our payment processor, under their own privacy policy.
Who we share data with
- Telegram — to deliver your alert messages
- LemonSqueezy — to process payments and manage subscriptions
- Supabase — hosts our database (your email, chat ID, license key, and usage count)
- Netlify — hosts this website and the backend functions that power alerts
We do not sell your data. We don't run advertising trackers or analytics on this website or inside the extension — there's nothing here beyond what's listed above.
How long we keep it
For as long as your trial, license, or account is active. Contact us (below) to request deletion at any time.

Children's privacy
This service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required by their local law to consent to data collection.
Changes to this policy
